Crowns by Dr. Harte and Dr. Douglas can "save" a smile! One of our fantastic patients was unhappy with his “hockey teeth” smile from previous trauma from a hockey accident as a kid. Teeth were shifted and had dark roots with recession. Patient had previous root canals with metal posts along with a defect from an apicoectomy root removal surgery on the gums. His smile line is low so he doesn’t show this gum area up high when he smiles so we opted not to do a gingival graft, although it would have been preferred.
